Cow Country Congress is a multi-county, multi- district program hosted by 8 counties and is a long standing beef educational day that, this year, will be held at Triple Sons Farms, located at 7532 FM 542, Centerville, on October 13. Paul DuFrene and his family have a great operation and a unique story. The day’s topics will include: Low Stress Cattle Handling with Dogs, Disaster Planning for both the beef herd and for forages, Cattle Development – Genetics & Geography, Heifer Selection, and a legislative update from State Representative Trent Ashby.
The best Beef Cattle Specialists will be on hand to deliver the education. We look forward to Dr. Ron Gill, Dr. Joe Pascal, and Dr. Jason Cleere sharing their knowledge on these topics.
We will also have the fortune of having a special Cajun Lunch! Paul Dufrene and his crew will fix up a mess of some of the best Cajun food there is around! As the menu is finalized, I will let you know so you can be sure to bring your appetite!
New this year – we have the ability to accept credit cards through the online registration link. This link will only take credit cards so if you need to pay by check or money order, please use the paper registration form. (You do not need to do both forms)
